I decided to take the trek (finally) down to Sleepy Hollow, i didnthave much time to really fully explore the place as half the landmarks and etc were closing by the time i got there, i luckily made it to the cemetery to find Washington Irving, i had a whole 10 minutes to fully explore the cemetery before closing.

Coney Island Overture

Apparently the big wigs and head honchos who secretly run Coney Island have extended there "demolition" of the entire place untill NEXT summer.  while i am not happy, because they shouldnt tear down the place at all, i was a little relieved. So i took a stroll down memory lane again, but this time i dont plan on going back at all this summer. When i went to Coney, the thing that really bothered me the most is the fact that the grandmother fortune teller machine is gone.  I have an old shot from some random day or whatever,

But what really pisses me off is the fact that it was replaced with a PEPSI
machine! i guess all those old fortune stubs that i have laying around are
now collectible. I remember last summer it stopped working, kinda weird since at that time major companies were buying up land to tear shit down.
To the left is a link, of my adventure of the disappearing Grandma's Fortune Teller, also i have bad camera holding skillz wordl.

But anyway! walking has been fun. It was really cold for some reason yesterday and so since i did not bring a hoodie or anything i was forced to buy one at a souvenier shop that says Coney Island on it, so it made me look like a tourist, and since i was carrying a camera around mad vendors were calling to me to play there games.

I think the most interesting part itself is visiting the abandoned parts of Coney. Or atleast the industrial part, i usually get this sense of nostalgia, a feeling that a long history or events took place right where i stood.

Then you can also find some really interesting things istelf just walking around. For example to my right is a really nice steel art piece, its to bad i dont know who did it but who ever did it, did a very nice job. Especially near the Coney Island Arts center, which to me seems shu

The freakshow, i give this place 5 stars for its originality, i dont know what the freak folks plan on doing after this summer though. ANd on the right is shoot the freak which isnt really a freak but some guy in a mask and holds a shield, he does this little dance when people shoot at him. I kinda feel bad for him in a way as people make a living off this i guess.

Cold
Cold
Well gee the what happened to all that glorious spring weather we were having? The weather has turned to shit and that means i stay in my cave, where even int he cave its just as cold. I have been wanting to go out for a good week but the weather has been maintaining the 50's and honestly to me thats to fricking cold to stay outside. Looking at the forecast though there seems to be some decent 70's weather this Monday but will it rain? will it be all cloudy? this is annoying bring the sweltering heat and melting sun!
