I attended the BURNING NEW YORK vs The Chelsea Art Museum Q&A yesterday took alot of pictures. This was my first Q&A with a graf artist. They were very nice and talked alot about respect, tags, and the legality of the art.

Before the Q&A i was just randomly taking my walk around NYC and i noticed these kids sitting in front of Starbucks near St Marks PL. they were begging for beer money. To me this is very 1992, i really didnt think with all the coporations around kids still resort to this measure but i guess they do, i always have this fear i will end up like this.

Here are 2 new pictures from NYC. One is from Central Park The obelisk which is a historical egyptian figure.
The other is a wall shot of some famous graffiti artists..The wall for what i hear is going to be painted over, and there is hundreds of art on this wall i couldnt get it all. sigh.

the end of cbgb

I took this right after CBGB shit down, so i thought to add it, some people think this is the end of the era of punk, some think opposite, some dont care. I have no opinion, most do. Perhaps it was for the best?

Perhaps one of the depressing time of the year is when CBGB closed down this week. Here in this "quick" shot because it was raining, graffiti is all that is left of the music club after owner HIlly Kyrstal moved the club to Las Vegas because of rent dispute by the landlord, cbgb gallery next door will remain open in another location though in NYC.

After a day of spending around Coney Island a i have a few pictures. Its been over 10 years in the making since i stepped foot in my hometown.

Not much has changed indeed, mostly over priced since i came. There is a few new sports fields and now the Parachuye Drop from the early 1900's lights up all year long. (starting last night) The boardwalk is filled up with sand underneath so no more hanging under the boardwalk, although from the beach side is filled iwth sand, the vendor side is still wide open underneath. (thats a good hint) What is really cool is they added a few "sprinklers" to spray people far from the beach, like a fake palm tree that sprays the kids in the sand and on the boardwalk they have a few sprayers aswell.

When it was time to leave, all i had left was digital memories untill the next 10 years or so.
